Jabil Financial Overview 2022–2026

Updated Nov 4, 2026

Half of Jabil's revenue now comes from a segment that grew 45% in a single year. Intelligent Infrastructure reached 50% of net revenue in FY2026, with cloud and data center sales to existing customers up 33% on AI demand. That is the thesis: Jabil has shifted from a handset-era assembler into an AI infrastructure supplier, and earnings are following the mix. Core diluted EPS hit $13.09a, up from $9.75 in FY2025.

The long arc is bumpier than the latest year suggests. Revenue went from $33.5 billion in FY2022 to $35.95 billionb in FY2026, with a trough of $28.9 billion in FY2024 after the Mobility sale. Core EPS climbed from $7.65 to $13.09 over the same span. Gross margin improved to 9.2% from 8.9%, and operating cash flow reached $2.00 billion, with $1.53 billion of adjusted free cash flow. Jabil also repurchased $1.06 billion of stock. The balance sheet absorbed the growth: accounts payable jumped to $14.44 billion from $7.94 billion, inventories rose to $7.41 billion, and debt reached $3.38 billion.

The market has paid up. At the close of FY2025, shares traded at $204.83c, or 34.6x earnings, for a $22.0 billion market cap. At the close of FY2026, the price was $305.26, or 31.3x, for $31.9 billion. The stock rose about 49% while the multiple compressed, so earnings did the heavy lifting. The catch is concentration: Customer A alone was 20% of FY2026 revenue, and the top five customers were 37%.

Recent Developments (Q3 and Q4 2026)

Q4 was the standout. Revenue hit $10.6 billiond in Q4 2026, above the $9.2 billion to $10.0 billion guided in June and up from $8.8 billion in Q3 2026. Core EPS reached $4.40, versus $3.16 in Q3 and a guided $3.80 to $4.20. Management raised the full-year outlook in June, then beat it. Jabil also bought Hanley Energy Group for $752 million and Rebound Technologies for $133 million. An FDA Warning Letter on August 27, 2026 led it to pause manufacturing at its Hunt Valley, Maryland pharmaceutics site. A $1.5 billion buyback was authorized in July 2026.

The bull case: FY2027 guidance calls for $44.5 billione of revenue and $17.55 core EPS, which would put the stock near 15.6x that target at $273.97. The bear case: the guide needs about 24% growth on a base that already carries heavy working capital, and at 28.1x trailing GAAP earnings as of October 22, 2026, the stock leaves little room for a miss. That multiple reflects the filing date, not today.

What to watch: Q1 FY2027 delivery against the $10.6 billion to $11.4 billion guide; resolution of the Hunt Valley FDA remediation

  3. 8-KJabil 8-K Report, Corporate Update (Apr 22, 2026)Jabil Inc. (JBL) disclosed in this Form 8-K, filed April 22, 2026 under Item 8.01 (Other Events), that the Board rejected the conditional resignations of directors John Plant and Tiger Tyagarajan. Both had failed to receive a majority of votes cast in their election at the 2026 Stockholders Meeting, which under the Company's bylaws triggered the tendering of conditional resignations. The Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee evaluated each resignation and recommended rejection, and neither director participated in the review or the Board's determination. In reaching its decision, the committee and Board weighed attendance and engagement, qualifications, and contributions to the Board and its committees, along with whether accepting the resignations would serve the best interests of the Company and its stockholders. The filing notes both directors had strong attendance records before fiscal year 2025 and have attended more than 75% of regularly scheduled Board and committee meetings so far in fiscal year 2026, which began in September 2025. Mr. Plant, a director since 2016, is described as one of the Company's audit committee financial experts. Mr. Tyagarajan, who joined the Board in 2024, is described as contributing experience in digital transformation, data analytics, artificial intelligence and global enterprise operations, informed by his service as President and CEO of Genpact Ltd. Both directors will continue serving on the Board and their respective committees until the 2027 Annual Meeting of Stockholders or until an earlier resignation or removal. For investors, the filing is a governance update rather than a financial disclosure, and it contains no financial figures.

Core operating income (non-GAAP) was $436 million and core diluted EPS (non-GAAP) was $2.69, which management described as ahead of its expectations across revenue, core operating margin and core EPS. Management attributed the strength mainly to Intelligent Infrastructure, with improvement in Regulated Industries (automotive and renewables). For the third fiscal quarter of 2026, Jabil guided to net revenue of $8.1 billion to $8.9 billion, U.S. GAAP operating income of $398 million to $458 million, and core diluted EPS of $2.83 to $3.23. On January 22, 2026, the Board increased its size from seven to nine directors and appointed Thomas T. Edman and Raejeanne Skillern as independent directors, effective immediately. Steven Raymund was appointed Chairman of the Board on the same date, and Sujatha Chandrasekaran was added to the Compensation and Cybersecurity Committees. Mark T. Mondello, who did not stand for re-election, ended his employment and his role as Executive Chairman on January 22, 2026. The filing does not report financial results or operating metrics.
