Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Financial Results (Oct 30, 2026)

Alliant Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: LNT) reported unaudited GAAP earnings per share of $1.52 for the third quarter of 2026, compared with $1.09 for the third quarter of 2025. For the first nine months of 2026, GAAP EPS was $3.04, up 17% from $2.59, and ongoing EPS was $2.99, up 14% from $2.62. The company narrowed its 2026 ongoing EPS guidance to $3.41 to $3.46 from $3.36 to $3.46, which it describes as the top half of the original range. The filing furnishes the third-quarter earnings press release (Exhibit 99.1), which also covers the company's 2027 outlook. For 2027, the company issued ongoing EPS guidance of $3.63 to $3.73 and set an annual common stock dividend target of $2.25 per share, up from the current annual target of $2.14. The release says the 2027 EPS midpoint represents 8% growth over the midpoint of the original 2026 ongoing EPS guidance. Management also raised its 2026 to 2030 capital expenditure forecast by 19% to $15.9 billion, citing growing demand. The company reports 3.4 gigawatts of contracted demand from data centers at IPL and WPL and expects peak demand to rise about 60% by 2031. On the regulatory front, the company is extending IPL's retail electric base rate stability plan by one year, through 2030, while earning its authorized return on equity. Balance sheet data show cash and cash equivalents of $26 million at September 30, 2026, versus $556 million at December 31, 2025, and commercial paper of $704 million, versus $88 million. Long-term debt, net, excluding current portion, was $11,085 million.

Alliant Energy Quarterly Report for Q3 Ended Sep 30, 2026

Alliant Energy Corporation, together with its subsidiaries Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL) and Wisconsin Power and Light Company (WPL), reported third-quarter 2026 results in this combined Form 10-Q. Alliant Energy's net income attributable to common shareowners was $398 million, or $1.52 diluted EPS, for the three months ended September 30, 2026, up from $281 million, or $1.09 diluted EPS, a year earlier. For the nine months, net income was $792 million, or $3.04 diluted EPS, compared with $668 million, or $2.59, in 2025. Total revenues for the nine months were $3.44 billion, and the company reported operating cash flow of $909 million for that period. Management attributes much of the higher utility earnings to revenue requirements from capital investments, higher allowance for funds used during construction, and higher retail electric sales, partly offset by higher operation and maintenance, financing and depreciation expenses. Capital investment and financing remain central. Alliant Energy's total debt was $12.56 billion at September 30, 2026, and its debt-to-total-capitalization ratio was 62% on an actual basis. The company's 2026-2030 construction and acquisition plan totals $2.86 billion in 2026 rising to $4.74 billion in 2028, focused on renewables, energy storage, thermal generation and LNG. Alliant Energy has an at-the-market program under which it may sell up to $1 billion of common stock through 2029, and it announced a targeted 2027 annual dividend of $2.25 per share. In October 2026, IPL and WPL entered into DOE loan guarantee agreements covering up to $3.5 billion and $1.6 billion of borrowings, respectively, and no amounts have been borrowed. Regulatory and data center developments are also significant. Large load growth customers, including data centers, drive expected higher retail electric sales in 2027, and WPL has filed a large load tariff with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin. Several generation projects are pending regulatory approval, including a proposed 1,200 MW natural gas plant at IPL with a decision expected in the second quarter of 2027. The filing also notes EPA actions in September 2026 repealing Section 111(d) emission guidelines for existing fossil-fueled generation, and in 2026 the company recorded $61 million of tariff cost recoveries tied to IEEPA tariff refunds.

Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Material Agreement (Oct 28, 2026)

On October 26, 2026, Wisconsin Power and Light Company (WPL) and Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL), both wholly owned subsidiaries of Alliant Energy Corporation, entered into loan guarantee agreements, note purchase agreements, and future advance promissory notes with the U.S. Department of Energy under the DOE Loan Guarantee Program established under Title XVII of the Energy Policy Act of 2005. The filing states that Alliant Energy Corporation is not a party to, and has no direct obligations under, these Loan Documents, and that each subsidiary has no obligations under the other's documents. Under the facilities, WPL may borrow up to $1,626,488,000 and IPL up to $3,500,000,000 through the Federal Financing Bank to reimburse up to 80% of eligible project costs for projects such as generation, transmission, substations, energy storage and grid resilience technologies. Borrowings are full recourse, senior unsecured obligations of each subsidiary, with a scheduled final maturity of May 15, 2056. Each advance bears interest at a U.S. Treasury rate plus 37.5 basis points, and the availability period runs until the earliest of September 15, 2033, the maximum loan amount being reached, or termination. The agreements contain customary covenants and events of default, including compliance with DOE Program Requirements, and mandatory prepayment provisions tied to eligible project status, a 95% regulatory cost recovery threshold, and changes in control (35% or more beneficial ownership of the borrower). The filing also notes that advances are conditioned on items such as completion of DOE environmental review, receipt of state regulatory approvals, and confirmation of investment grade credit ratings.

Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Corporate Update (Aug 21, 2026)

Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Alliant Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: LNT), entered into an Underwriting Agreement dated August 18, 2026 with Mizuho Securities USA LLC, PNC Capital Markets LLC, U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc., and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, as representatives of the underwriters, to sell $500 million aggregate principal amount of its 5.100% Senior Debentures due 2031 in a public offering. The offering is expected to close on August 21, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. The debentures are being issued under a 2003 indenture with The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A., as successor trustee, and are registered under an automatic shelf registration statement on Form S-3 filed December 15, 2023. IPL's press release announcing pricing states the debentures will be due September 30, 2031, and that net proceeds are intended to reduce outstanding capital under its receivables purchase and sale program, reduce outstanding commercial paper, and/or fund general corporate purposes. This filing is primarily a procedural 8-K that files the underwriting agreement, officer's certificate, legal opinions, and pricing press release as exhibits to the registration statement. For investors, the filing is a routine debt financing by a regulated utility subsidiary, with the key terms being the $500 million size, the 5.100% coupon, the 2031 maturity, and a stated use of proceeds aimed at reducing short-term funding obligations and general corporate needs.

Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Financial Results (Jul 31, 2026)

Alliant Energy Corporation (Nasdaq: LNT) furnished an 8-K on July 30, 2026 under Item 2.02 reporting results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2026, with the earnings press release filed as Exhibit 99.1. The combined filing is made by Alliant Energy Corporation, Interstate Power and Light Company, and Wisconsin Power and Light Company. Second-quarter GAAP EPS was $0.65 versus $0.68 in the year-earlier quarter, and net income attributable to common shareowners was $170 million versus $174 million. For the six months, GAAP EPS was $1.52 versus $1.50, while non-GAAP EPS was $1.47 after excluding a $0.05 per share benefit from the remeasurement of deferred tax assets tied to state income tax apportionment. Management reaffirmed 2026 ongoing EPS guidance of $3.36 to $3.46 per diluted share and said earnings are currently trending in the upper half of that range. CEO Lisa Barton cited three data centers making significant construction progress and meaningful progress on energy resource investments, which the company says positions it to accelerate earnings growth. The release states the company expects 60% load growth by 2031 and that large customer load is expected to materialize as forecasted in 2026. Quarter drivers included higher revenue requirements from rate base growth at IPL and WPL ($0.09 per share each), higher equity earnings from corporate venture investments, and higher temperature-normalized retail sales. Offsets included higher other operation and maintenance expense, higher financing and depreciation expenses, and unfavorable temperature impacts, which the filing estimates reduced retail electric and gas sales by $0.03 per share in the quarter. Cash and cash equivalents fell to $25 million at June 30, 2026 from $556 million at December 31, 2025, and long-term debt payments of $1,075 million were made in the first half.

Alliant Energy Quarterly Report for Q2 Ended Jun 30, 2026

Alliant Energy Corporation, together with its subsidiaries Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL) and Wisconsin Power and Light Company (WPL), filed this combined Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. For the three months ended June 30, 2026, Alliant Energy reported total revenues of $971 million (versus $961 million in 2025) and net income attributable to common shareowners of $170 million (versus $174 million), with diluted EPS of $0.65 compared with $0.68. For the six months, net income was $394 million versus $387 million, and diluted EPS was $1.52 versus $1.50. Higher revenue requirements from capital investments and higher equity income from corporate venture investments were offset by higher operation and maintenance, interest and depreciation expenses. Operating income for the quarter declined to $185 million from $223 million. Capital structure and financing activity were significant during the period. Alliant Energy repaid $575 million of 3.875% convertible notes at maturity in cash and issued 834,811 shares for the conversion excess, and it entered into a $400 million term loan due March 2027. It also established a 2026 at-the-market program of up to $1 billion, under which forward sale agreements covering 6,550,857 shares were entered into during the quarter, with no proceeds yet received. Total debt was $12.12 billion at June 30, 2026, with a debt-to-total-capitalization ratio of 62% at the parent level. Credit ratings were unchanged in substance, though S&P changed certain IPL ratings in March 2026. The filing also highlights large-load and generation growth. IPL signed an electric service agreement for a data center with approximately 370 MW of contracted peak demand, and the PSCW approved an individual customer rate for a WPL data center customer subject to a requirement to file a large load tariff. Several generation projects are pending regulatory decisions, including a roughly 720 MW gas-fired unit and a roughly 1,200 MW Riverhawk Energy Center. Note 12(e) discloses that WPL's collective bargaining agreement with IBEW Local 965 expired in May 2026, with a tentative agreement reached but not yet finalized. Legal proceedings are reported as none.

Shareowners elected all four director nominees (Patrick Allen, Manu Asthana, Ignacio Cortina and Michael Garcia) to terms ending in 2029. Asthana received the strongest support, with 204,157,674 votes for against 1,248,759 against, while Garcia drew the most opposition, with 27,812,589 votes against and 177,498,853 for. Alliant Energy Quarterly Report for Q1 Ended Mar 31, 2026

Alliant Energy Corporation, together with Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL) and Wisconsin Power and Light Company (WPL), reported first-quarter 2026 net income attributable to Alliant Energy common shareowners of $224 million, or $0.87 per diluted share, compared with $213 million, or $0.83 per share, in the first quarter of 2025. Operating income was $249 million versus $257 million, with interest expense rising to $142 million from $119 million. Management attributed the decline in Utilities and Corporate Services net income ($215 million, $0.83 per share, versus $225 million) mainly to higher other operation and maintenance, financing and depreciation expenses, partially offset by higher revenue requirements from capital investments and higher AFUDC, while Non-utility and Parent results improved on a state income tax apportionment benefit. Cash and capital activity was significant during the quarter. Alliant Energy repaid $575 million of 3.875% convertible notes at maturity in cash and issued 834,811 shares for the conversion excess, retired $200 million of AEF senior notes and a $300 million term loan, and entered into a $400 million variable rate term loan maturing March 2027. Equity was raised through at-the-market programs: the $1.3 billion 2025 program was fully utilized, and a new program allowing up to $1 billion of common stock sales through 2029 was established. Forward sale agreements covering 19,598,207 shares under the 2025 program, with a weighted-average forward price of $65.99 per share, remain outstanding and are expected to settle in 2026 and 2027. Alliant Energy's debt-to-total-capitalization ratio was 61% on an actual basis and 60% on an adjusted basis. Regulatory and growth developments include IUC advance rate-making principles for up to 1,000 MW of new Iowa wind generation with a fixed cost cap of $3,020 per kilowatt, a 720 MW natural gas-fired EGU application at IPL with a decision expected in the first quarter of 2027, and an April 2026 electric service agreement with IPL for a data center with contracted peak demand of approximately 370 MW. The filing also notes that tariff-related cost recoveries have not been recognized because recovery is not considered probable, and that Alliant Energy's Standard & Poor's ratings were updated for IPL and that Alliant Energy's corporate rating is BBB+.

Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Financial Results (May 1, 2026)

Alliant Energy Corporation furnished a press release (Exhibit 99.1) dated April 30, 2026, announcing unaudited first-quarter 2026 results. GAAP earnings per diluted share were $0.87, up from $0.83 in the first quarter of 2025, and GAAP net income attributable to common shareowners was $224 million, compared with $213 million. Ongoing (non-GAAP) EPS was $0.82, versus $0.83 a year earlier. The non-GAAP adjustment removes a $0.05 per share ($12 million) benefit from a remeasurement of deferred tax assets tied to estimated state income tax apportionment. The company said this quarter's ongoing EPS represented approximately 25% of the midpoint of its 2026 ongoing EPS guidance, and it reaffirmed that guidance of $3.36 to $3.46 per share. The main drivers cited were higher revenue requirements from increasing rate base at IPL ($0.05 per share) and WPL ($0.10 per share), and higher allowance for funds used during construction ($30 million, compared with $18 million). These were offset by higher financing and depreciation expense tied to capital investment, and higher other operation and maintenance expense from distribution and generation costs, including planned maintenance. Total revenues rose to $1,184 million from $1,128 million, while operating income declined to $249 million from $257 million and interest expense rose to $142 million from $119 million. Weather reduced retail electric and gas sales, which the company estimated at $0.04 and $0.03 per share in 2026 and 2025, respectively. Data center growth was the headline commercial development. Alliant signed an electric service agreement for approximately 370 MW of contracted demand in Iowa, bringing total contracted data center demand to approximately 3.4 GW across five executed agreements. The filing notes that a data center customer that had signed with WPL in the third quarter of 2025 chose an IPL location in the first quarter of 2026, so that agreement was terminated and renegotiated with IPL.

Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Material Agreement (Mar 19, 2026)

On March 19, 2026, Alliant Energy Corporation entered into a distribution agreement under which it may sell, from time to time, shares of its common stock with an aggregate offering price of up to $1.0 billion through a group of sales agents. Sales may be made as ordinary brokers' transactions on the Nasdaq Global Select Market at market prices, in block transactions, or as otherwise agreed. The company may also enter into forward confirmations with forward purchasers, who would borrow and sell shares to hedge those confirmations, with the company receiving proceeds only upon future physical settlement. The company may also sell shares to an agent as principal under a separate terms agreement. The company intends to use net proceeds, after agent commissions and offering expenses, for general corporate purposes, which may include repayment, refinancing, repurchase or redemption of debt, working capital, construction and acquisition expenditures, and investments. The company will not initially receive proceeds from shares sold by an agent acting as forward seller. The shares are being issued under a Form S-3 registration statement (No. 333-276062) and a prospectus supplement dated March 19, 2026. Several agents and forward purchasers, or their affiliates, are lenders under the company's revolving credit facility, and the agents and their affiliates have provided and may in the future provide other financial and non-financial services for customary fees. The filing attaches the distribution agreement as Exhibit 1.1 and a legal opinion from Perkins Coie LLP as Exhibit 5.1.

Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Material Agreement (Mar 4, 2026)

On March 2, 2026, Alliant Energy Corporation entered into a term loan credit agreement with U.S. Bank National Association as Administrative Agent and a group of lenders. The agreement provides for a $400 million term loan facility, plus an incremental term loan facility of up to $100 million for which no lender has any obligation to provide funding. A cross-default provision applies if the company or certain subsidiaries default on debt (other than nonrecourse debt) totaling $100 million or more, and obligations become immediately due upon an order for relief under bankruptcy laws. The full terms are set out in the credit agreement, filed as Exhibit 10.1, which the filing incorporates by reference.

Alliant Energy Annual Report, Year Ended Dec 31, 2025

Alliant Energy Corporation is a regulated investor-owned public utility holding company serving approximately 1,010,000 electric and approximately 435,000 natural gas customers in the Midwest through its two utility subsidiaries, Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL) and Wisconsin Power and Light Company (WPL). For 2025, Alliant Energy reported consolidated net income attributable to common shareowners of $810 million, or $3.14 per diluted share, up from $690 million, or $2.69 per diluted share, in 2024. Utilities and Corporate Services net income rose $153 million, driven mainly by higher revenue requirements from capital investments, estimated temperature impacts and the absence of 2024 charges, partly offset by higher O&M, depreciation and financing expenses. Non-utility and Parent results declined, with a 2025 asset valuation charge for the non-utility business. The company plans heavy capital spending, with construction and acquisition expenditures of $3.13 billion in 2026 rising to $3.63 billion in 2028 and totaling roughly $13 billion over the next four years. Growth is tied to data center and other large load customers, with executed electric service agreements covering aggregate peak demands of approximately 3 gigawatts. The company expects to fund this through debt and equity, including up to $2.4 billion of common stock issuance from 2026 through 2029, and its Board raised the targeted 2026 annual dividend to $2.14 per share. Key risks include regulatory outcomes, tax credit legislation under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, environmental rules, and capital market access. The filing notes that IPL has a retail electric base rate moratorium through September 2029 and that WPL received PSCW approval for a 2026 base rate increase of $69 million for electric and $7 million for gas. Balance sheet leverage is elevated, with a consolidated debt-to-total-capitalization ratio of 62% on the actual basis, compared with 60% on the adjusted basis that treats 50% of junior subordinated notes as equity. Alliant Energy's credit ratings are BBB+ (S&P) and Baa2 (Moody's), both stable outlooks. Operating cash flow was $1.17 billion in 2025, roughly flat with 2024, while investing outflows of $1.90 billion exceeded it.

Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Financial Results (Feb 20, 2026)

Alliant Energy Corporation reported fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results in a press release furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this combined Form 8-K, filed jointly with Interstate Power and Light Company and Wisconsin Power and Light Company. GAAP diluted EPS was $3.14 for 2025, up from $2.69 in 2024. Ongoing (non-GAAP) EPS was $3.22, compared with $3.04 in 2024, which the company describes as 6% growth. Fourth-quarter GAAP EPS was $0.55 versus $0.58, and fourth-quarter ongoing EPS was $0.60 versus $0.70. Ongoing 2025 results exclude a $0.05 per share asset valuation charge for the non-utility business and a $0.03 per share charge from remeasuring deferred tax assets for higher estimated state income tax apportionment. The company cited higher revenue requirements from rate base growth, partly offset by higher other operation and maintenance expenses and higher depreciation and financing costs. The company affirmed its 2026 ongoing EPS guidance of $3.36 to $3.46 and reiterated a track record of compound annual earnings growth of more than 6%. Management said it renegotiated an electric service agreement with QTS based on a new project location. The release also updated projected capital expenditures for 2026 through 2029 to $3,130 million, $3,580 million, $3,625 million and $3,065 million, respectively, with renewables and energy storage, gas projects and electric distribution systems among the main categories. For 2025, the filing reports total revenues of $4,362 million (versus $3,981 million), net income attributable to common shareowners of $810 million (versus $690 million), and net cash flows from operating activities of $1,169 million. Long-term debt, net, rose to $10,954 million from $8,677 million at year-end 2024. The quarterly common dividend rate was increased to $0.5075 per share from $0.48.

Alliant Energy Corporation furnished a press release (Exhibit 99.1) reporting unaudited third-quarter 2025 results. GAAP EPS was $1.09 for the quarter, compared with $1.15 in the same quarter of 2024, and ongoing (non-GAAP) EPS was $1.12 versus $1.15. For the first nine months of 2025, GAAP EPS was $2.59, up 23.3% from $2.10, and ongoing EPS was $2.62, up 12.4% from $2.33. The company narrowed its 2025 ongoing EPS guidance to $3.17 to $3.23 (previously $3.15 to $3.25) and said full-year results are trending toward the upper half of that range. The third-quarter ongoing figure excludes an $8 million, or $0.03 per share, state income tax apportionment charge at the parent level. The company issued 2026 ongoing EPS guidance of $3.36 to $3.46, which it describes as 6.6% growth over 2025 at the midpoint. It also raised its 2026 annual common stock dividend target to $2.14 per share from $2.03. The growth outlook is supported by data center demand: IPL and WPL now have 3 GW of contracted data center demand, including a recently executed 900 MW electric service agreement for the QTS Madison site, and the company expects peak energy demand to grow 50% by 2030. To serve that demand, Alliant raised its 2025 through 2029 capital expenditure forecast by 17% to $13.4 billion. Projected total capital expenditures are $2,470 million for 2025, $3,045 million for 2026, $3,665 million for 2027, $3,795 million for 2028 and $2,905 million for 2029. Investors should weigh the earnings and dividend targets against the scale of this spending and the forward-looking risks the filing lists, including rate recovery, construction timing and cost, and regulatory approval for large-load customers.

Alliant Energy Quarterly Report for Q3 Ended Sep 30, 2025

Alliant Energy Corporation reported third-quarter 2025 net income attributable to common shareowners of $281 million, or $1.09 per diluted share, compared with $295 million, or $1.15 per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2024. For the nine months ended September 30, 2025, net income rose to $668 million ($2.59 per diluted share) from $540 million ($2.10 per diluted share), and total revenues increased to $3.30 billion from $3.01 billion. The filing attributes the quarterly decline in Utilities and Corporate Services net income mainly to higher other operation and maintenance expenses, the timing of income tax expense, and higher depreciation and financing costs, partly offset by higher revenue requirements from capital investments. The company is building out its generation and grid. Planned construction and acquisition expenditures for 2025 through 2029 total $2.47 billion, $3.05 billion, $3.67 billion, $3.80 billion and $2.91 billion by year, focused on renewables, energy storage, gas generation and distribution. Long-term debt, net, rose to $10.66 billion from $8.68 billion at December 31, 2024, reflecting several 2025 debt issuances. Alliant also sold common stock under an at-the-market program that allows up to $1.3 billion through 2028. Under forward sale agreements, $686 million of gross sales proceeds were not yet received as of September 30, 2025. Growth drivers include executed electric service agreements with customers planning data centers, which the filing says carry aggregate peak demand of approximately 3 gigawatts across IPL and WPL. Wisconsin Power and Light's solar construction costs exceeded PSCW-approved estimates by approximately $205 million, but a November 2025 oral PSCW decision on a 2026/2027 rate settlement includes full recovery of those costs, with a written order expected by the end of 2025. The company also announced a 5% increase in its targeted 2026 annual dividend to $2.14 per share.

Alliant Energy Quarterly Report for Q2 Ended Jun 30, 2025

Alliant Energy Corporation (LNT) filed this Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, a combined report covering Alliant Energy, Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL) and Wisconsin Power and Light Company (WPL). For the three months ended June 30, 2025, Alliant Energy reported revenues of $961 million (vs. $894 million) and net income attributable to common shareowners of $174 million (vs. $87 million), or $0.68 diluted EPS (vs. $0.34). For the six months, net income was $387 million ($1.50 diluted EPS) versus $245 million ($0.95) in 2024. The 2024 comparison periods included a $60 million pre-tax non-cash Lansing Generating Station asset valuation charge at IPL and a $20 million ARO charge tied to IPL's steam business. Management attributes the quarterly improvement mainly to higher revenue requirements from IPL and WPL capital investments and to the absence of those 2024 charges, partly offset by higher depreciation and financing expenses. Capital spending and financing remain large. Alliant Energy's construction and acquisition expenditures for 2025 through 2028 are currently anticipated at $2,510 million, $2,755 million, $3,205 million and $3,040 million per year, with a focus on generation to meet growing demand, including data center load under executed electric service agreements totaling about 2.1 gigawatts. Liquidity at June 30, 2025 included $329 million of cash and $1,008 million of available revolver capacity. Long-term debt, including current maturities, was $11,015 million. Alliant Energy entered an at-the-market program of up to $1.3 billion of common stock through 2028, with forward sale agreements covering 2,913,023 shares at a weighted-average forward price of $60.84 per share, and it issued $575 million of 3.25% convertible senior notes due 2028 in May 2025. Regulatory and policy items are significant. WPL filed a 2026/2027 retail electric and gas rate review requesting increases of $120 million and $9 million for 2026, with a PSCW decision expected by the end of 2025. The filing also notes that the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, enacted in July 2025, accelerates the phase-out of clean energy tax credits for certain projects, which could reduce expected credits if projects do not meet construction-start or in-service timelines.

Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Financial Results (Aug 8, 2025)

Alliant Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: LNT) furnished a Form 8-K dated August 7, 2025, under Item 2.02 (Results of Operations and Financial Condition), attaching a press release announcing financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2025. The filing is a combined report also filed by Interstate Power and Light Company and Wisconsin Power and Light Company. For the second quarter, GAAP earnings per share were $0.68 versus $0.34 in the second quarter of 2024, and net income attributable to Alliant Energy common shareowners was $174 million versus $87 million. The company's non-GAAP EPS for Q2 2024 was $0.57, and no non-GAAP adjustments were made in Q2 2025. Management attributed the year-over-year improvement mainly to 2024 non-GAAP charges not recurring, higher revenue requirements from capital investments, and estimated temperature impacts, partly offset by higher depreciation and financing expenses. Non-utility and Parent results were a loss of $0.10 per share, down $0.07 from the prior year, driven by lower equity income from corporate venture investments, higher financing expense and timing of income taxes. For the six months ended June 30, 2025, GAAP EPS was $1.50 diluted versus $0.95 in 2024, and net income was $387 million versus $245 million. Operating revenues were $2,088 million versus $1,925 million. Balance sheet items reported at June 30, 2025 include total assets of $23,750 million, long-term debt of $9,642 million (excluding current maturities of $1,373 million), and common equity of $7,145 million, with book value per share of $27.80. Cash from operating activities for the six months was $492 million, and construction and acquisition expenditures for the utility business were $976 million. The company reaffirmed its 2025 consolidated ongoing EPS guidance of $3.15 to $3.25 per share, with assumptions including normal temperatures, execution of capital expenditure plans and the ability of IPL and WPL to earn their authorized returns. The guidance excludes material non-cash valuation adjustments, regulatory-related charges and other listed items. A conference call to discuss the results was scheduled for August 8, 2025 at 9 a.m. Central time.

GAAP earnings per share were $0.83 for 2025, compared to $0.62 in 2024, with consolidated net income attributable to common shareowners of $213 million versus $158 million. The Utilities and Corporate Services segment contributed $0.87 per share, up $0.25 from the prior year, driven mainly by higher revenue requirements from capital investments, estimated temperature impacts on sales, and timing of income tax expense. The Non-utility and Parent segment reported $(0.08) per share, primarily reflecting higher financing expenses and timing of income tax expense. Management noted the quarter was ahead of plan despite warmer-than-normal temperatures. The company reaffirmed its 2025 consolidated ongoing EPS guidance of $3.15 to $3.25 per share, assuming normal temperatures, a stable economy, execution of capital plans and cost controls, and a consolidated effective tax rate of (28%). The release states that the company has incorporated additional energy resources into its capital expenditure and financing plans to serve approximately 2.1 gigawatts of contracted peak data center demand. The updated projected capital expenditures for 2025 through 2028 total $11.5 billion in aggregate, with annual totals of $2,510 million in 2025, $2,755 million in 2026, $3,205 million in 2027, and $3,040 million in 2028. Alliant Energy Quarterly Report for Q1 Ended Mar 31, 2025

Alliant Energy Corporation, together with its subsidiaries Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL) and Wisconsin Power and Light Company (WPL), reported first-quarter 2025 consolidated net income attributable to Alliant Energy common shareowners of $213 million, or $0.83 per diluted share, compared with $158 million, or $0.62 per share, in the first quarter of 2024. Total revenues rose to $1.128 billion from $1.031 billion, driven by higher electric utility revenues ($853 million vs. $791 million) and gas utility revenues ($240 million vs. $205 million). The filing attributes the increase in Utilities and Corporate Services net income primarily to higher revenue requirements from IPL and WPL capital investments, estimated temperature impacts on sales, and the timing of income tax expense, partly offset by higher depreciation and financing expenses. Alliant Energy's income tax benefit was $47 million in the quarter, versus $10 million a year earlier, and its effective tax rate was lower due to additional tax credits from renewable generation and energy storage projects. The balance sheet shows total assets of $22.851 billion at March 31, 2025, with property, plant and equipment, net of $19.022 billion. Total long-term debt including current maturities was $9.951 billion, and commercial paper outstanding was $678 million. Cash flow from operating activities was $249 million, versus $307 million a year earlier, while utility construction and acquisition expenditures were $554 million. Alliant Energy's convertible senior notes due 2026 ($572 million net carrying amount) were reclassified to current maturities of long-term debt. The company's 2025 through 2028 construction and acquisition plan totals $2.51 billion in 2025, rising to $3.04 billion in 2028, with the filing noting that the plan is subject to change as management evaluates tariffs and potential large load growth. Regulatory and growth developments include WPL's March 2025 retail electric and gas rate review requesting annual increases of $120 million (electric) and $9 million (gas) in 2026, a 9.9% requested return on common equity, and an electric service agreement with a new data center customer in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. IPL and WPL's executed electric service agreements carry aggregate maximum demands of approximately 2.1 gigawatts. Management also expects to issue up to $1.3 billion of common stock through 2025 through 2028 and up to $1.3 billion of long-term debt at AEF and/or the parent for the remainder of 2025.

The company may also enter into forward confirmations with the forward purchasers, who would borrow and sell shares to hedge those confirmations, and may sell shares to an agent as principal under a separate terms agreement. The company states it intends to use net proceeds, after agents' commissions and offering expenses, for general corporate purposes, which may include repayment, refinancing, repurchase or redemption of debt, working capital, construction and acquisition expenditures, and investments. Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Material Agreement (Mar 3, 2025)

On March 3, 2025, Alliant Energy Finance, LLC (AEF), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alliant Energy Corporation, entered into a one-year second amended and restated term loan credit agreement with U.S. Bank National Association, as administrative agent, and the several lenders party thereto. The initial principal amount available is $300 million, maturing March 2, 2026, with an incremental term loan facility of up to $100 million, though no lender is obligated to provide it. Alliant Energy guaranteed AEF's obligations under the agreement. Proceeds will be used to refinance existing AEF indebtedness and for general corporate purposes. The agreement amends and restates the existing term loan credit agreement. The Credit Agreement includes several covenants that investors should note. Alliant Energy must maintain a consolidated debt-to-capital ratio of not greater than 65%. The agreement restricts liens on property of AEF, Alliant Energy and its subsidiaries, subject to exceptions such as liens securing obligations of up to 10% of consolidated assets and up to $100 million of non-recourse debt at each of Interstate Power and Light Company and Wisconsin Power and Light Company, plus $100 million at non-utility subsidiaries. It also requires that asset sale proceeds above 25% of consolidated assets, with certain exclusions, be used to reduce certain debt commitments during the term. The agreement contains customary events of default, including a cross-default triggered by a default on debt (excluding non-recourse debt) of $100 million or more by Alliant Energy or its domestic subsidiaries. Upon an uncured event of default, lenders may accelerate outstanding obligations, and a bankruptcy order for relief against AEF or Alliant Energy would make obligations immediately due. The full terms are described in Exhibit 10.1, the Credit Agreement, which is incorporated by reference.

Alliant Energy Annual Report, Year Ended Dec 31, 2024

Alliant Energy Corporation is a regulated investor-owned public utility holding company serving approximately 1,000,000 electric and approximately 430,000 natural gas customers in the Midwest through its two utility subsidiaries, Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL) and Wisconsin Power and Light Company (WPL). Net income attributable to Alliant Energy common shareowners was $690 million, or $2.69 per diluted share, in 2024, compared with $703 million, or $2.78 per share, in 2023. Utilities and Corporate Services net income was $722 million ($2.81 per share), down $2 million from 2023, with the decline primarily due to a $60 million pre-tax asset valuation charge for IPL's Lansing Generating Station, estimated temperature impacts, restructuring and voluntary separation charges, and an ARO charge for IPL's steam business related to the revised CCR Rule. The company's strategy centers on significant customer-focused investments. Alliant Energy plans approximately $2.2 billion of construction and acquisition expenditures in 2025, rising to $3.0 billion in 2027 and $2.96 billion in 2028, with the largest share going to renewables and energy storage. Over the next five years it plans roughly 1,200 MW of new wind and solar, 1,000 MW of energy storage, and 750 MW of new natural gas resources. IPL also signed electric service agreements with two prospective data center customers with aggregate maximum demands of approximately 1.9 gigawatts, subject to IUC approval. IPL's September 2024 retail electric rate order provides an annual base rate increase of $185 million and a retail electric base rate moratorium from October 2025 through September 2029, while WPL's rate base continues to grow with a planned rate review for 2026/2027. Key risks highlighted include regulatory outcomes, MISO resource adequacy changes, environmental rules (including the revised CCR Rule and Section 111 rules), potential repeal or amendment of the Inflation Reduction Act, and the company's credit ratings, where Alliant Energy's S&P outlook is Negative.

Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Financial Results (Feb 21, 2025)

Alliant Energy Corporation (Nasdaq: LNT) reported fourth-quarter and full-year 2024 results on February 20, 2025, as furnished in Exhibit 99.1 press release. GAAP earnings per share were $2.69 for 2024 compared to $2.78 in 2023, while ongoing or non-GAAP EPS was $3.04 for 2024 versus $2.82 in 2023. GAAP net income attributable to common shareowners was $690 million in 2024 versus $703 million in 2023. The company affirmed its 2025 ongoing EPS guidance range of $3.15 to $3.25 per share. The gap between GAAP and non-GAAP results in 2024 reflects $0.35 per share of excluded items, including a $0.17 per share asset valuation charge for IPL's Lansing Generating Station following an Iowa Utilities Commission order, $0.08 per share of restructuring and voluntary separation charges, $0.06 per share of asset retirement obligation charges for IPL steam assets under the revised Coal Combustion Residuals Rule, and $0.04 per share of deferred tax asset adjustments from Iowa tax reform. Utilities and Corporate Services non-GAAP EPS rose to $3.12 from $2.86, while the company cited revenue requirements from capital investments, including $0.68 per share of benefit, as a key driver. Higher depreciation ($0.19 per share) and financing expense ($0.15 per share) partially offset these gains. Capital spending and debt levels increased during 2024. Utility business construction and acquisition expenditures were $2.05 billion, up from $1.73 billion, and long-term debt was $8.68 billion at year-end, up from $8.23 billion. The company stated it completed 1,500 megawatts of solar generation investments in 2024, in addition to existing 1,800 megawatts of wind resources. Its 2025 guidance assumes normal temperatures, a consolidated effective tax rate of (28%), and successful execution of renewable and energy storage project in-service dates.

The filing states there are no other arrangements or understandings tied to his appointment and no family relationships with any director or executive officer. Benjamin Bilitz, the current Chief Accounting Officer and Controller, was appointed Treasurer of the Companies in the same action, also effective March 2, 2025. Because Bilitz is moving into the Treasurer role while Syse assumes the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller position, the change is an internal succession within the finance and accounting function.

Alliant Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: LNT) filed this combined Form 8-K on October 31, 2024, furnishing its press release (Exhibit 99.1) announcing third-quarter 2024 results. GAAP earnings per share were $1.15 for the third quarter of 2024, compared to $1.02 in the third quarter of 2023. Net income attributable to common shareowners was $295 million for the quarter, versus $259 million a year earlier. For the nine months ended September 30, 2024, GAAP EPS was $2.10 versus $2.31 in 2023, reflecting a $0.17 per share asset valuation charge tied to IPL's Lansing Generating Station and a $0.06 per share asset retirement obligation charge for IPL's steam assets. Non-GAAP EPS for the nine months was $2.33 compared to $2.34 in the prior year. The company narrowed its 2024 EPS guidance to $2.99 to $3.06, down from the previous range of $2.99 to $3.13 at the top end. Management said it expects to offset a majority of the negative 2024 temperature impacts on earnings. The company also introduced 2025 EPS guidance of $3.15 to $3.25 per share and raised its 2025 annual common stock dividend target to $2.03 per share from $1.92. The press release reiterates a long-term earnings growth range of 5% to 7%. Alliant Energy Quarterly Report for Q3 Ended Sep 30, 2024

Alliant Energy Corporation's Form 10-Q for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 reports consolidated net income attributable to common shareowners of $295 million, or $1.15 diluted EPS, for the three months, up from $259 million, or $1.02, a year earlier. For the nine months, net income was $540 million, or $2.10 diluted EPS, compared with $582 million, or $2.31, in 2023. The nine-month decline reflects a $60 million pre-tax non-cash asset valuation charge for IPL's Lansing Generating Station and a $20 million pre-tax ARO charge for IPL's steam business, both recorded in the second quarter of 2024. Results also reflect higher interest expense and depreciation, partly offset by higher revenue requirements from WPL's capital investments. Total revenues were $3.01 billion for the nine months versus $3.07 billion a year earlier. Key developments include IUC approval in September 2024 of a partial settlement for IPL's retail electric and gas rate review, with annual base rate increases of $185 million for electric and $10 million for gas effective October 1, 2024, and a retail electric base rate moratorium through September 2029. The revised CCR Rule led to additional AROs of $355 million for Alliant Energy in the second quarter of 2024. Total assets were $22.83 billion at September 30, 2024, and cash and cash equivalents rose to $827 million from $62 million at year-end 2023, while long-term debt increased to $9.25 billion from $8.23 billion. The filing also discloses a planned fourth-quarter 2024 restructuring with pre-tax charges of $25 million to $30 million, a 6% increase in the targeted 2025 annual common stock dividend to $2.03 per share, and expected 2025 financings including up to $600 million of IPL long-term debt. WPL's approximately 1,100 MW of new solar generation is expected to exceed prior cost estimates by about $195 million, though the company concluded no probable disallowance existed as of September 30, 2024.

Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Corporate Update (Sep 6, 2024)

Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Alliant Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: LNT), entered into an Underwriting Agreement on September 4, 2024 to sell two series of senior debentures in a public offering: $350 million of 4.950% Senior Debentures due 2034 and $300 million of 5.450% Senior Debentures due 2054. The securities are issued under an 2003 indenture with The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A., as successor trustee, and are registered under an automatic shelf registration statement on Form S-3 that IPL filed on December 15, 2023. The offering was priced on September 5, 2024, and closing is expected on September 6, 2024, subject to customary closing conditions. IPL states that it intends to use the net proceeds to retire its $500 million aggregate principal amount of 3.25% senior debentures maturing on December 1, 2024, at or prior to maturity, and for general corporate purposes. For investors, the filing is primarily a financing event: it refinances a maturing debt issue and extends IPL's long-term debt maturities out to 2034 and 2054. The filing itself does not describe the company's operating or financial results. This Form 8-K was filed to add exhibits to IPL's registration statement, including the Underwriting Agreement, the Officer's Certificate establishing the debentures, and legal opinions from Perkins Coie LLP and Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman PLC on the legality of the securities and on Iowa law matters. The filing also references a September 5, 2024 press release announcing the pricing.

Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Financial Results (Aug 2, 2024)

Alliant Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: LNT) reported second-quarter 2024 results in a press release furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K, dated August 1, 2024. GAAP earnings per share for the three months ended June 30, 2024 were $0.34, compared with $0.64 in the same period of 2023. Non-GAAP EPS was $0.57, compared with $0.64. The filing attributes the decline mainly to a $60 million pre-tax non-cash asset valuation charge for IPL's Lansing Generating Station, tied to the proposed Iowa rate review settlement, and a $20 million pre-tax asset retirement obligation charge for IPL's steam assets, tied to the revised Coal Combustion Residuals Rule. Timing of income taxes, higher financing and depreciation expenses, and estimated temperature impacts also weighed on results, partly offset by $0.12 per share of higher revenue requirements from capital investments at WPL. For the six months ended June 30, 2024, GAAP EPS was $0.95 versus $1.28, and non-GAAP EPS was $1.18 versus $1.28. Second-quarter revenues were $894 million versus $912 million, and net income attributable to common shareowners was $87 million versus $160 million. Management stated that, excluding the timing of income taxes and temperature impacts, first-half 2024 ongoing results were in line with its expectations. Alliant reaffirmed its 2024 consolidated EPS guidance of $2.99 to $3.13. The guidance excludes the Lansing and steam asset charges, which the company quantified at $0.17 and $0.06 per share, respectively. Management pointed to the Iowa rate review settlement, with an Iowa Utilities Commission decision currently expected in the third quarter of 2024, and to data center opportunities as drivers of long-term growth. The company also reported that year-to-date temperature impacts reduced 2024 EPS by $0.10 per share relative to normal temperatures.

Alliant Energy Quarterly Report for Q2 Ended Jun 30, 2024

Alliant Energy Corporation's Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 reports consolidated net income attributable to common shareowners of $87 million ($0.34 diluted EPS) for the three months, down from $160 million ($0.64) a year earlier, and $245 million ($0.95 diluted EPS) for the six months versus $323 million ($1.28). The second-quarter decline was driven mainly by a $60 million pre-tax non-cash asset valuation charge for IPL's Lansing Generating Station, following a partial non-unanimous rate settlement that removes a return on the plant's remaining net book value, and a $20 million pre-tax non-cash ARO charge tied to the revised CCR Rule. Operating income fell to $130 million for the quarter from $217 million, and interest expense rose to $108 million from $96 million. The filing also shows a large increase in environmental and asset retirement exposure: the revised CCR Rule led to additional AROs of $355 million for Alliant Energy, $102 million for IPL and $253 million for WPL, with amounts expected to be adjusted as site closure plans are refined. WPL also disclosed that its approximately 1,100 MW of new solar generation is expected to exceed previously approved construction cost estimates by about $195 million, and that it updated plans to convert the coal-fired Edgewater Unit 5 to natural gas in 2028 rather than retire it by June 1, 2025. On the balance sheet, total assets were $21.84 billion and long-term debt was $8.90 billion at June 30, 2024. Operating cash flow for the six months rose to $562 million from $311 million, while construction and acquisition expenditures for utility business were $870 million. IPL's pending retail electric and gas rate review settlement, subject to IUC approval, would provide an annual electric base rate increase of $185 million with final rates expected October 1, 2024, and a retail electric base rate moratorium through September 2029.

Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Temporary Suspension of Trading Under Employee Benefit Plans (Jul 26, 2024)

Alliant Energy Corporation filed this Form 8-K on July 26, 2024 under Item 5.04 to disclose a temporary suspension of trading under its employee benefit plan. The Company's 401(k) Savings Plan will enter a blackout period beginning August 30, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. (Central Time) and ending during the calendar week beginning September 22, 2024. During this window, Plan participants will be unable to change contribution rates or enroll, change how current or future contributions are invested, request investment exchanges, or request or obtain loans or distributions. The Company states the blackout is necessary for administrative reasons to implement a change in service provider, with recordkeeping and trustee services being transferred to Fidelity Workplace Services, LLC. The blackout also restricts the Company's directors and executive officers from trading Alliant Energy common stock, including options and derivatives, whether or not the shares are held in the Plan. The Company notes this restriction arises under the SEC's Regulation BTR, which is authorized by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, and applies in addition to the Company's Trading in Company Securities Compliance Memo. The Company received notice of the impending blackout from the Plan administrator on July 22, 2024, as required by ERISA Section 101(i)(2)(E), and sent notice to directors and executive officers on July 26, 2024. The filing is administrative in nature and does not report any financial results, operating developments, or changes to the Company's business. Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Material Impairment (Jun 24, 2024)

On June 20, 2024, Alliant Energy Corporation and its wholly-owned subsidiary Interstate Power and Light Company (IPL) concluded they will record a one-time charge for the three and six months ending June 30, 2024. The charge stems from a non-unanimous settlement agreement reached with the Office of Consumer Advocate and the Iowa Business Energy Coalition in IPL's retail electric rate review. The filing discloses this under Item 2.06, Material Impairment. Under the settlement, IPL concluded that it is no longer probable it will earn a return on the regulatory asset for its retired coal-fired Lansing Generating Station from retail customers once final rates are implemented later in 2024. The non-cash pre-tax charge is approximately $60 million, or approximately $45 million after tax, which equals approximately $0.17 per diluted share. Investors should note that the settlement agreement remains subject to approval by the Iowa Utilities Board.

Alliant Energy Quarterly Report for Q1 Ended Mar 31, 2024

Alliant Energy Corporation's Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 reports consolidated net income attributable to common shareowners of $158 million, or $0.62 per diluted share, compared with $163 million, or $0.65 per share, in the first quarter of 2023. Total revenues were $1,031 million versus $1,077 million, with lower gas utility revenues and cost of gas sold driven by temperatures and lower natural gas prices. Management attributes the decline in Utilities and Corporate Services net income of $4 million mainly to warmer-than-normal temperatures reducing retail electric and gas sales, plus higher financing and depreciation expenses, partially offset by higher revenue requirements from WPL's capital investments. Interest expense rose to $107 million from $94 million. On the balance sheet, total assets were $21.25 billion at March 31, 2024, with long-term debt (net, excluding current portion) of $8.52 billion, up from $8.23 billion at year-end 2023. WPL issued $300 million of 5.375% green debentures due 2034 and retired a $300 million AEF term loan, and the company's cash flow from operating activities rose to $307 million from $188 million. Key items for investors include WPL's expectation that its approximately 1,100 MW solar construction costs will exceed PSCW-approved estimates by about $180 million, with WPL filing for judicial review in March 2024, and the EPA's April 2024 final environmental rules, which management says it is still evaluating. The filing also covers the sale of partial interests in West Riverside to WEC Energy Group (100 MW) and Madison Gas and Electric (25 MW), expected in June 2024, and Standard & Poor's change of Alliant Energy's and IPL's outlooks from stable to negative in March 2024, which management does not expect to have a material impact on liquidity.

Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Financial Results (May 3, 2024)

Alliant Energy Corporation (Nasdaq: LNT) furnished this Form 8-K, a combined filing with Interstate Power and Light Company and Wisconsin Power and Light Company, on May 2, 2024 to report its unaudited results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2024. GAAP earnings per share were $0.62, compared with $0.65 in the first quarter of 2023. Consolidated net income attributable to common shareowners was $158 million, versus $163 million a year earlier. The company attributed the shortfall primarily to historically mild weather, which reduced retail electric and gas sales, along with higher financing and depreciation expenses, partially offset by higher revenue requirements from capital investments at Wisconsin Power and Light. Management reaffirmed 2024 consolidated EPS guidance of $2.99 to $3.13 per share. CEO Lisa Barton said results were in line with the company's expectations and highlighted the approaching completion of the final project in a 1.1 gigawatt solar investment in Wisconsin as a milestone in diversifying the energy mix. The guidance assumes normal temperatures, constructive and timely regulatory outcomes, and an assumed consolidated effective tax rate of (7%). Balance sheet and cash flow data show long-term debt, net, rising to $8,524 million at March 31, 2024 from $8,225 million at December 31, 2023, and net cash flows from operating activities of $307 million, compared with $188 million in the prior-year period. Alliant Energy 8-K Report, Material Agreement (Mar 5, 2024)

On March 1, 2024, Alliant Energy Finance, LLC (AEF), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alliant Energy Corporation, entered into a one-year amended and restated term loan credit agreement with U.S. Bank National Association, as administrative agent, and the several lenders party thereto. The initial principal amount available is $300 million, maturing March 3, 2025, with an incremental term loan facility of up to $100 million for which no lender has any obligation to provide funds. Alliant Energy guaranteed AEF's obligations under the facility, and advances will be used to refinance existing AEF indebtedness and for general corporate purposes. The agreement amends and restates the existing term loan credit agreement. The Credit Agreement includes several covenants that investors should note. Alliant Energy must maintain a consolidated debt-to-capital ratio of not greater than 65%. The agreement restricts liens on property of AEF, Alliant Energy, and its subsidiaries, subject to exceptions such as liens securing obligations of up to 10% of consolidated assets and non-recourse debt limits of $100 million each at Interstate Power and Light Company, Wisconsin Power and Light Company, and Alliant Energy's non-utility subsidiaries. It also requires that certain asset sale proceeds exceeding 25% of consolidated assets be used to reduce specified debt commitments during the term. The agreement contains customary events of default, including a cross-default triggered by a default on debt (other than non-recourse debt) of $100 million or more by Alliant Energy or its domestic subsidiaries. Upon an continuing event of default, lenders may accelerate outstanding obligations, and a bankruptcy order for relief with respect to AEF or Alliant Energy would make obligations immediately due and payable. The filing also reports the agreement under Item 2.03 as a direct financial obligation.

Key risks noted in the filing include regulatory outcomes on rate relief, cost overruns on solar projects (WPL reported construction costs expected to exceed approved amounts by approximately $180 million), coal plant retirements, MISO resource adequacy changes, cybersecurity, and credit rating and capital market access.
