Broadridge Financial Solutions Financial Overview 2022–2026

Updated Nov 4, 2026

Broadridge's stock fell 44% in a year that its earnings jumped 35%. The shares closed at $243.03a at the end of FY2025, or 34.2x earnings, then at $136.95 at the end of FY2026, or 14.3x. The market cut the multiple by more than half while the business kept compounding. That is the core thesis: the operating results improved, and the valuation reset reflects something other than a collapse in them.

Revenue grew from $5,709.1 million in FY2022 to $7,476.8 millionb in FY2026. Net earnings doubled from $539.1 million to $1,124.3 million. Operating margin widened from 13.3% to 17.4%, and operating income reached $1,300.6 million in FY2026. Read the headline carefully, though. FY2026 net earnings include a $227.0 million non-cash gain on digital assets. Adjusted EPS of $9.60 rose 12% from $8.55, a cleaner measure of underlying growth. Recurring revenue climbed 8% to $4,878.0 million.

Cash generation backs this up. Free cash flow reached $1,233.0 millionc in FY2026, up from just $370.4 million in FY2022. The company spent $603.7 million on buybacks and $443.5 million on dividends in FY2026, and the annual dividend rate rises to $4.36. Total debt held flat at $3,254.6 million. Market capitalization stood at $15.6 billion at the close of FY2026, down from $28.5 billion a year earlier.

Recent Developments (Q3 and Q4 2026)

Q3 revenue rose 8% to $1,954 milliond, but Q3 2026 closed sales fell 19% to $58 million, and management cut full-year closed sales guidance to $240-$290 million. Q4 reversed it. Fourth-quarter closed sales jumped 39% to $158.3 million, and full-year sales finished at $305.1 million. Adjusted operating margin slipped 90 bps to 21.5% in Q3. In May, Broadridge issued $500 million of 5.750% notes due 2036 to refinance 3.400% notes. It also authorized a $1.5 billion buyback and added ex-FINRA CFO Todd Diganci to the board.

The bull case: Q4 sales rebounded, FY2027 guidance calls for 8-12% Adjusted EPS growth, and the stock traded at 17.5x earnings as of the August 3, 2026 annual report, not today's price. The bear case: the proposed Regulation E-Delivery rule could trim recurring revenue growth over two to three years, and postage pass-through inflated distribution revenue.

What to watch: Regulation E-Delivery progress and FY2027 recurring revenue growth against the 6-8% guide; closed sales conversion against the $290-330 millione target
