Veeva Systems Financial Overview 2022–2026

Updated Nov 4, 2026

Veeva's stock fell while its earnings climbed. Shares closed at $203.92a at the end of FY2026, down from $233.26 at the end of FY2025, even as GAAP diluted EPS rose from $4.32 to $5.44. The multiple compressed from 54.0x to 37.5x earnings, and market cap slipped from $37.9 billion to $33.4 billion. The thesis: profits are compounding faster than the market is willing to pay for them, and the business converts that growth into cash at an increasing rate.

Revenue grew from $1.85 billion in FY2022 to $3.195 billionb in FY2026, and the latest year still posted 16% growth. Operating income rose from $505 million to $916.4 million over the same stretch. FY2026 net income reached $908.9 million, up 27%. Gross margin improved to 75% in FY2025 from 71% the year before. Operating cash flow hit $1.415 billion in FY2026, versus $764 million in FY2022.

The balance sheet is enormous relative to the valuation. Veeva ended FY2026 with $6.6 billionc in cash and short-term investments. In January 2026 it authorized a $2 billion buyback, its first ever, and repurchased about $180 million of stock by year-end, leaving $1.82 billion available. Customers grew to 1,552 from 1,477. The top 10 customers still account for 28% of revenue, which is the concentration risk behind the numbers.

Recent Developments (Q1 and Q2 2027)

Revenue growth accelerated in the first half of fiscal 2027. Revenue rose 16% in Q1 to $882.9 milliond, then 18% in Q2 to $928.0 million. Q2 GAAP operating income jumped 40% to $275.0 million, partly because a $31 million litigation charge in the prior-year quarter did not recur. Non-GAAP operating margin reached 44.8%. Management raised full-year revenue guidance to $3,682-$3,687 million from $3,635-$3,645 million. Veeva acquired Ostro and Copli. Thomas Schwenger, President and Chief Customer Officer, resigns effective October 2, 2026, and Dan Rizzo succeeds him.

The bull case: Vault CRM has 12 top-20 biopharma commitments, and guidance keeps rising. The bear case: the stock closed at $282.13e, or 51.9x earnings as of August 26, 2026, a rich price that leaves little room for a CRM share loss to Salesforce or turnover in sales leadership.

What to watch: Vault CRM migrations versus customers moving to Salesforce; Q3 revenue against the $932-$935 million guide
